THE 21ST CENTURY LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES PLUS QUESTIONS ALL LEADERS MUST ANSWER

EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS BORN WITH A LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL.  WE ARE ALL CREATED TO LEAD BUT MUST BECOME A LEADER.

IN OTHERWORDS,  WE ARE CREATED TO BE IN CHARGE,  BUT WE MUST BE CHARGED.

THE MODERN  CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP IS NOT TO BOSS PEOPLE AROUND OR TO INTIMIDATE,  FIND FAULT,  GIVE ORDERS,  CONTROL PEOPLE AND FIRE PEOPLE AT WILL.

THERE ARE VARIETY OF THEORIES ON LEADERSHIP BUT PRINCIPLES NEVER CHANGE.

HOWEVER,  IT IS THE APPLICATION OF THESE WELL THOUGHT OUT PRINCIPLES THAT'S THE MAJOR PROBLEM OF WORLD LEADERS.

THE WORLD DOESN'T HAVE THE PROBLEM OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND UNDER-DEVELOPMENT,  ITS BEEN THE PROBLEM OF LEADERSHIP.

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE LEADING BUT THERE ARE FEW LEADERS.  PEOPLE LOBBY FOR POSITION AND TITLE THAN THE TRUE ACT OF LEADERSHIP.

THEIR AIM IS CLEARLY NOTICED IN THE STATISTICS OF MONEY LAUNDERY  AND INCESSANT CORRUPTION CASES AROUND THE GLOBE.

THE GOAL OF LEADERSHIP IS HENCE DESTROYED BY LACK OF INTEGRITY, HONESTY AND MORAL.

TODAY,  THERE ARE MORE POSITION OCCUPANTS THAN TRUE LEADERS.

TRUE LEADERS WORK FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS THAN SELF.  THEY SOW WHILE THEIR FOLLOWERS REAP.  THEY'RE LIKE THE  MANGO TREE THAT DOES NOT EAT THE  FRUIT OF ITS TREE.  TRUE LEADERSHIP IS PURELY SACRIFICE.

A GREAT LEADER STANDS OUT TO DEFEND HER SUBJECTS.  HE PROTECTS, FOSTERS UNITY AND STRENGTHENS AREA OF WEAKNESSES AMONGST FOLLOWERS.

A GOOD LEADER DOESN'T ENGAGE IN BLAME GAMES.  HE MAINTAINS FOCUS FOR PEACE.

OBVIOUSLY,  WHEN A COUNTRY IS IN CHAOS,  THERE ARE USUALLY GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR LOOTING AND EMBEZZLEMENT OF PUBLIC FUNDS.

UNFORTUNATELY,  THE MOST AFFECTED GROUP AT THIS POINT ARE USUALLY THE YOUTHS WHO ARE TERMED THE LEADERS OF THE MORROW AND THAT MORROW NEVER SURFACE.

AGAIN, EVERY GROUP IN HUMAN HUMAN RACE HAS THE POTENTIAL,  INSTINCT, ABILITY,  CAPACITY, CAPABILITY AND DESIRE TO LEAD BUT VERY FEW HAVE THE COURAGE AND WILL TO CULTIVATE IT.

THIS IS WHY WE ALL HAVE CERTAIN QUESTIONS TO ANSWER IF WE TRULY WANT TO EMERGE  GREAT LEADERS OF OUR CENTURY.

FOR INSTANCE,  WE MAY NEED TO SINCERELY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

1. DOES A MANGO TREE EATS THE FRUIT OF ITS TREE?
2. WOULD YOU PREFER A SELF - CONTROLLED  LIFE TO A GOD-CONTROLLED LIFE?
3. DO YOU HAVE A LEADERSHIP SPIRIT OR THE SPIRIT OF LEADERSHIP?
4. CAN YOU LEAD AND FOLLOW?
5. HOW DOES YOUR ATTITUDE REFLECTS YOUR APTITUDE?
6. WHAT CAN OF PEOPLE DO YOU ATTRACTS?
7. DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO FUNCTION WITHOUT AN UNCTION?
8. DO YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY OF  BEEN ALONE OR LONELY?
9. WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOUR AREA OF GIFTING?
10.CAN YOU BECOME A WASTEBIN,  DUMPSITE OR HANDKERCHIEF FOR THE SAKE OF ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH?

YOU MAY NEED TO SINCERELY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS  AND EVEN MORE TO EMERGE A DOGGED LEADER OF OUR TIME.
