THE POWER OF VISION by W.C.AGUGUA

THE POWER OF VISION

There are two great words here; Power and Vision. The first that is Power is the natural or special ability to do something. Something here could mean Vision. Thus, it is the natural or special ability to do vision. It means that power comes naturally from God, specially or artificially from the world, society, or man. Power that comes from the world is temporary and that which is from God is permanent or everlasting. This is because God, our creator does not half- baked or short lifts his creatures but give him total and optimal dominion (Gen 1:26 -28) .
Vision on the other hand is the ability to see; inspired, and idealistic idea about the future. In the spirit encounter, vision of the past, present and future can be reveal to correct, warn, direct or reposition wrong footsteps.
Now, the “Power of Vision” is the natural or special ability to see and to know God’s plan for his children. When a man understands this, he is ready to explore the society or environment and surroundings which he lives in.
SOURCES:
Some vision can be induced through satanic manipulations. But divine, real or true vision is planted by God. And you ask; Bro. William; How can I know real or true vision? Listen!
1.      True vision grows out of biblical principles.
2.      It is heart disturbing.
3.      It is given to us by God through the Holy Spirit. (Joel 2:28).
4.      Some of its elements are symbolic and need to be interpreted symbolically.
5.      It is not the same as ambition, while ambition is what a man desire to be in life, vision is what God created him to be in life.
6.      True vision motivates us to action; never allow us to sit in complacency. That is, it has a driving force.
7.      True vision has proper direction and focus. It explains in details what you are to do in order to achieve it.
8.      Real vision comes with some challenges, hurdles you must cross. There will be scoffers, nay-Sayers, and inadequate resources and so on.
9.      True Godly vision consists of foresight, insight and oversight that propel from his sight. Men of Issachar understood all these (1chr. 12:32).
10.  True vision comes with provision, because when there is vision, there is bound to be provision since it is God’s plan (Jer. 29:11).
11.  Make sure that your vision(s) is tested against scriptures (1 Jn. 4:1, Deut. 13:1-5).

TYPES:

1. SPIRITUAL VISION: - Using your spirit eyes to see events, faces, places, ideas and so on.  Jesus saw Nathaniel with his spirit eyes (Jn. 1:47-49; 19, 20; 14:12; 16:13).
2. TRANCES: - The Greek word is “ekstasis” meaning the displacement of the mind; you are unaware of your natural environment. One can deliberately enter into a hypnotic trance, but cannot deliberately enter into a supernatural biblical trance, because it is Holy Spirit induced (Acts 10:9-16; 22:17-21).
3. OPEN VISION:- You could also see things or event with the physical eyes like in the case of Zechariah while in the temple (LK 1:11-17,22), Apostle Peter in  Acts of the Apostle chapter 12:7-11;5:9,20 and Ezekiel (Ezek 1:1-21,2kings 6:1-17).
4. DREAM-VISION: - A vision in a dream.
5. AMBI-VISION:- The greatest discovery of man is the discovery of self that is, knowing who you are and what you are here for. Your ambition can later be discovered as your vision. To become truly successful in life, your vision must become your ambition.
God wants to give every believer two kinds of vision;
·         The vision of life (Job 3:13-16).
·         The vision of heaven (2cor 5:1-10).
Remember, God is no respecter of anyone (Acts 10:34). For He causes rain to fall on the just and unjust (Matt.5:45).
                                                   EXAMPLES OF VISION:
There are many scriptural references of the power of vision. For instance,
IN THE OLD TESTAMENT:
·         God’s vision to Abraham (Gen 12:2-3, 15:1-21).
·         God’s vision to Moses (Ex. 3:7-10).
·         God’s vision to Joshua (Joshua 1:2-3).
·         God’s vision to Balaam (Num. 24:1-19).
·         God’s vision to Samuel (1Sam 3:1-21).
·         Nathan’s night vision concerning King David (2Sam 7:4-17, 1chro 17:15; 9: 29; 12:15).
·         Isaiah’s vision to Judah and Jerusalem (Isa 1:1; 6 :1-4).
·         Obadiah’s vision concerning Edom (Oba 1:1-21).
·         Nahum’s receives vision concerning Nineveh (Nah 1:1-3; 19).
·         Habakkuk’s vision of Christ second coming (Hab 2:2-3).
·         God’s vision to Ezekiel (Ezek 7:13; 8:1-4; 11).
·         God’s vision to Daniel (Dan 2:19; 8:1-27; 9).
·         God’s vision to Job (Job 7:14) etc.
IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:
·         God’s vision to Jesus (Luke 4:18-19).
·         God’s vision to his disciples (Matt 28:18-20).
·         God’s vision to Paul (Acts 26:16-18; 16:9, 10).
·         God’s vision to Peter (Acts 10:9-48).
·         God’s vision to Cornelius (Acts 10:1-48).
·         God’s vision to Ananias (Acts 9:10-12).
·         God’s vision to Saul (Acts 9:12).
·         Zachariah’s vision of an angel of God (LK 1:11-22).
·         Peter, James and John had vision of Moses, Elisha on the mountain with Jesus (Matt 17:1-13).
Vision is one among the inner witness of the Holy Spirit and God is still pouring out his spirit upon unsaved flesh and saving them (Ps 138:2, Jude 2). The same vision is being transferred to our generation to direct, warm, or correct. Scriptures says”.... hear now my words, if there is a prophet among you, I the lord will make myself known to him in a vision and speaks to him...”(Num 12:6). Again scripture announces;”And afterward I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy and your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).This is not limited to a particular sect, race, or tribe but to those who need the eyes of faith, to see the invisible, a decision to get it started and a motivation to make it happen. A visionary is one who sees first and sees most. Now I ask you, do you need God vision for your dear life? If YES, please follow me in these steps;
Ø  To have a vision, you must have clear and accurate understanding and knowledge about God, self and circumstances around you.
Ø  You have to be prayerful, persistence and determine, but do not pressure God, you may motivate Satan. Never underestimate the power of fasting and prayer. It is the key to great vision. Prayer gives grace to vision (Acts 10:9-16). It gives birth to substantial vision.
Ø  Stand out and be focus. Don’t do what others are doing but, if you must do, be different! (Num. 13:30-31).
Ø  Know that you are not alone in this business, so be still and know that He is your GOD. He will speak through your mind, pay attention, listen carefully, do not doubt and just follow His direction(s).
After receiving God’s vision for your dear life, you must do the following:
v  First, you must write them down clearly because an unwritten vision is easily forgotten. That was why God wrote down His vision for the church in the bible and ordered us to do same (Hab. 2:2-3).
v  Create a SMART plan to accomplish the vision (prov. 15:22; 16:1), set your goal (phil. 3:14) and time it. A timeless vision is an unaccomplishable vision (Eccl. 3). When timing is missed, frustration will set in (1Sam. 15:9-18; Ex.17:14).
v  Vision PLUS Action = Realization. Your vision must be a daily routine, keep thinking it, keep doing it, keep saying it, act it out and you will see it coming through. It could also mean searching out the right information about your vision, getting the right teachings towards attaining your vision.
v  Be ready to pay some sacrifices, to cross hurdles and to face some challenges. Great vision is borne out of great sacrifices. No Pain! No Gain, No Gut, No Glory! (phil. 3:13-14).
WHY IS VISION SO IMPORTANT TO MAN?
Vision is the whole essence of our living. The reason why we are sent into this world is to fulfil a particular vision. Vision is a discovery of God’s plan as it relate to our life. Vision is foresight with insight based on hindsight. It is beginning a thing with the end in mind. No man ever saw glory without seeing the vision (Acts 7). Without vision the people perish in sea of complacency, ambiguity and ambivalence. Vision gives pain a purpose; it is the lens that interprets the event of our life. If we have scratches on our lens, it may seem everybody around us has scratches too. Vision is the centre point of attraction. The eyes of the body is the eye of vision (Luke 11:34, Jn. 4 35).  The power of vision makes us speaks the truth (Acts 18:9). The power of vision demonstrate that having  a positive vision of the future is the most forceful motivation for change to success that fellowships, companies, schools, communities, nations and individuals  possess. The power of vision will inspire the people in your organization, fellowship or group to think together, dream together and act together to make a difference. Holy Spirit gives us the power (dunamis) to bring vision to pass, to exalt Jesus Christ, to attack the power of darkness, to exalt the scripture and lift up sound doctrine. Without Vision our sight will be blurred. Vision is one of the spiritual gifts of God to mankind. It moves pass the realm of the logical, the sequential and the analytical into the realm of experience. When a man has the power of vision, he sees sin before it sinks him. Success is not achieved without a vision. When a man has the power of vision, he is bound to do exploit both spiritually and physically. Vision is able to lift a man from Sin to Saint, Zero level to Hero level, from Prison to President t, Grass to Grace, Gateman to General Manager, from Crisis to Christ-like, Failure to a Sailor and from Mediocrity to Superiority. Vision succeeds in the face of failure. It makes a man through adequate information to transformation.
Unfortunately, there are HINDRANCES to this supernatural plan of God to mankind, for wherever God sow good seed, the devil seek to destroy, uproot, kill, steal or thwart it process of germination. Scripture records that he roams around like a roaring lion seeking for whom to devour (1Peter 5:8). Some of these hindrances are:
·         SIN:-  Our vision is blurred with hatred, anger, jealousy, enviness, blasphemy, slander, masturbation, sexual immorality, gossip and so on. How can we see clearly without cleansing the filthy particles from our eyes? The account of Job is a guide for us. The Lord said; “who is this that darken my council with words without knowledge”, and after the Lord ask Job fifteen questions ,he mouth shivered and he replied; “my ears have heard of you but, now my eyes have seen you therefore i despise myself and repent in dusts and ashes” (Job 39:1-2; 42:5-6, Isaiah 64:6). Visionaries who meddle with sin will sink. Do not play with sin not even a joke, for there are vision snatchers, dream killers and future over - takers. Be wise!
·          FEAR:-  Fear comes by meditating on the lies of the devil while faith comes by meditating on God’s words. You can be a child of God but never have your vision of life due to fear. David saw Goliath as too big to miss, Peter sank because of fear from boisterous wind (Matt. 14; 30). The book of second Timothy chapter one verse seven says that God has not given us the spirit of fear but of sound mind. Read also; Psalm 23:4 and Jn. 14:27).
·         DISTRACTION:-  This is one of the devil devices to preoccupy us with “good things ”but not necessarily at that time to stop us from communing with our heavenly Father and doing things to please Him.
·         DISOBEDIENCE:-  Scripture says that obedience is better than sacrifice. Saul had problem of disobedience and he lost his throne (1Sam.15:22-23), Jonah also had same problem, Adam and Eve and countless many others. Disobedience drives the vision of God far away from us.
·         DOUBT:-  Many people  pray with disbelief, so even when the vision comes to them, they refuse to belief then confusion sets in.
·         IGNORANCE:-  Some persons lacks  knowledge of how God speaks to them and many times God has reveals His plan and purpose for us but we vehemently ignore them.
Vision is a mission in action to achieve. Vision precedes great achievement. Vision says; I am an adventurer seeking for treasure. One without a vision is like a scalar quantity that has no direction. Every vision needs visionaries. If you can see it, you can have it. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day become. Dissatisfaction and discouragement are not cause by the absence of things but the absence of vision. Never underestimate the power of vision. The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious. Vision is the act of seeing the invisible visibly. Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can receive. To have sight without vision is worse than being born blind. When you have no vision for life, you walk and work aimlessly, live carelessly and die shamefully. You know why? Because vision is God preferred future. Vision is seeing through God’s eyes. What people need is the right vision not capital. Every vision that is not back up by quality decision will end in delusion. Any man without a vision is a man without a future and a man without a future will always return to his past. I pray for you now; that the Almighty God will save you from any filth that have darken your eyes and make you not to behold His glory, not to know God’s plans for your life and the stuff you are made of. Today I pray that the Power Of Vision shall fall heavily upon you, so that you will know the purpose why you are on earth and moving in that direction to fulfil your destiny. It is well with you. Keep dinning with Jesus everyday for He cares for you.

LIKE AN EAGLE by W.C.AGUGUA

LIKE AN EAGLE
Last week we discussed extensively about the ant and God spoke clearly to us in Proverb 6:6 when He said “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise”. This is a clear admonition for wisdom which the bible also refers to as the principal thing. This means, wisdom is a principle which leads to understanding for prosperity. The ant is in the business of gathering and storing food in dry season (harvest time) to be use in rainy season (difficult moment). It stores a lot to spend enough. Never wasteful because they have a saving culture, they never lack. That’s wisdom!
You know, the greatest enemy of  man is not the devil, is himself for not going for knowledge. So he remains in ignorance (ignoring knowledge) and been tossed to and fro by little demons.

Today’s topic is “Like An Eagle”. Here, we shall be exploring the great manager of the sky and wind current. The best aero dynamist ever created; the greatest vision seer and focus expert. Please, do sit down and enjoy the sail. You may be wondering why I love talking about animal creatures. This is simple! It’s because I simply love nature. Then in addition, the in-depth understanding and/ or knowledge of these creatures christened by man, will give us the true understanding of ourselves. When we have the understanding that these animals were made and placed in our care to harness, yet they explore their natural ability while we bury ours. Sure we shall be motivated to face challenges and become champions. The eagles have over 60 species of its kinds and live for about 40-70 years depending on the kind. Female eagles are usually larger than their male counterpart.

The eagles have about 7000feathers whose colours ranges from  black-brown, white to gold and yellow peak. Their peaks are made of keratin and are usually long and sharp. Eagles do not fly, they glide and soar. Eagles have a high-pitch tone which can be heard during mating, or when threatened.
Let’s take some wonderful lessons from MR and MRS. Eagle. They could be a perfect guide for us.
                EIGHT WONDERS OF THE EAGLES:
1.
THE“BE YOURSELF” PRINCIPLE
Watch out for the eagle, during flight. You are sure to see gliding or soaring alone or with other great eagles. Eagles do not mix up with squirrels, ravens or sparrows. This principle teaches us that we should watch the groups or peers we associate with and take time to choose wisely. It was Solomon who said walk with the wise and you become wise, walk with the fool and you would become one honourably.
Better Put: “he that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but a companion of fools shall be destroyed”. Prov.13:20 KJV. Eagles can never be found among chicks. There are differences in being different. Eagles could do the same thing differently. For instance, they don’t fly but soar but also glide and they do not simply glide they do it with style and acrobatic until they touch or reach the sky. They make conscious effort to stand-out and to be different just to make a difference. They be themselves, not emulating another. Human usually want to be exactly like their role model or mentor; barb same hairstyle, dress same, do same cat or hippotamus or rynus walk but the eagles maintain their personality, different from other birds and stand-out.

2.   THE VISON-FOCUS PRINCIPLE
Eagles have great vision. I usually refer to the eagles as the great vision seers. Eagles could see both front and side-view simultaneously. Eagle’s eyes are four times sharper than normal human eyes. They could pick up a swimming fish under the river from the height of 5 miles above the sea level; maintain focus on the fish no matter the wind and turbulent distraction until they finally capture their prey. This lesson teaches us to see the vision of life before executing and when launching our action plan, we should remain resilient, never distracted or lose focus and eventually we shall achieve our goal, for vision is a mission in action to achieve and any man without a vision of life is like a ship without a rudder, a waif and a no-body.

3.   THE FEEDING PRINCIPLE
Eagles never, never feed on dead or decayed animals, vultures do. Eagles feed on live animals. Immediately after capturing their prey, they devour and feed on them.
This principle teaches us the power of current and latest information. Man is not what he eats but what he read. The mind must constantly be updated and renewed everyday.  St. Paul said “but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind”. “Knowledge is power” according to Francis Beacon but this knowledge must regularly be refreshed for optimum growth.

4.    OPPOSITION BEGATS PROMOTION
Eagles derive joy in the midst of the wind and storm. While other birds hide in the bush among grasses during storm, the eagles bounce into the air. They make use of the thermal current to soar high in the sky and relax their feathers while moving along the lines of the current. The lesson here is that opportunities are abound in every challenge. For, every great troubles, there is a great man. The saying goes “after the rain, comes the sun” and the bible puts it better “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. Man is better trained by God than fellow man. You know, challenges can never leave you the way it found you. So, take the storm of life as the glory of God.

5.    TESTING BEFORE TRUSTING
Female eagle does not trust the male for mating without testing. The female eagle will soar high with the male chasing after her. She slide suddenly, pick up a twig and make a long upward flight, and then drops the twig. The male chase after the twig and returns it. This could repeat itself for three to four times with each twig dropping occurring from a higher sky flight. Then, the female will allow the male to mate with her. This training is a test of commitment. The two mates lives for life without divorce or separation except death do them part. Another mate could be allowed after a period of one year. This is a perfect lesson for married couples.

6.   THE PRINCIPLE OF COMMITMENT
Both male and female join hands to train their young ones. The mother incubates her egg and rest after some hours to change position, the male takes over. During, the time of egg-laying, eagles soar to a very far place for fear of predators. They build their nest on a high cliff. The father travels far to gather materials for the nest construction. He does this one-by-one. First he collects the thorns, then twigs, followed by grasses, then thorns again and finally he removes his feather and lay it on the thorns for safety of his unborn children. He also go on hunting expeditions for the offspring’s. When the eggs are hatched by the eaglets with their egg tooth, they are incubated and taking care of by both the male and female eagles until when the eaglets can fend for themselves.

7.    LEARNING, RELEARNING & UNLEARNING
Few months after the birth of the young eagles, their wings and tail feathers are fully developed. These are usually larger and taller than those of their parents, but there is a problem. They cannot use these feathers appropriately without a guide and proper training. So, the mother introduces them to a sort of flight trainings. She will throw them from the cliff but, because they are still inexperience, they will manage to fly back to the nest. Some will never survive this training as they will smash, onto the ground and die. At times the male will soar after the young ones and bring them back to the nest. Then the training continues. The mother eagle on noticing that the eaglets fly back to the nest immediately after been thrown out will remove the first layer (feather) of the nest thereby exposing the thorns. Some eaglets will endure the flight on seeing the thorns while others will step on the thorns and endanger their feet as blood are seen gushing out of their feet. At this point, the eaglets feel their parents are been unfair to them.
The big lesson here is that we must continue in training and retraining, learning and relearning if we must succeed in this life and the life after. Man therefore needs constant self- development to glow his world and make a difference; positive impact in his generation for we are not truly existing if we are not living. When we are corrected, rebuked or criticized, please find time to check within for a conscious change rather than putting up malice with the fellow. Their actions may be a proof of love for you just like the mother eagle.

8.    NEW BIRTH: When eagles grow old with their thick and heavy feathers, they no longer enjoy flight so they take a long journey to a distance place away from predators. The hid under thick trees and begin to remove the feathers one after the other until they are no more. Days enter weeks, weeks into months and months run into years and fresh feathers are developed. At this time, the eagle look s very young again like a new born eaglet. He takes time to sharpen his peak properly; test his newly developed feathers and soar back with great joy and ecstasy.
Lesson: man need some time to evaluate his life activities, actions and inactions. It was a great writer and philosopher who said that an unexamined life is not worth living. We need some quiet time each day away from the usual hustle and bustle to meditate on God’s word; to fast and pray and to shun some identified wrong behaviours. In this way, we will remain fresh always in the Lord.
Let’s take time to go through the principles again and make conscious decision today to become great and soar high like the EAGLE.

THERE'S NO REASON TO LOVE

Would you like to marry you knowing your bad manners, laziness, unkempt hair and body odor, wrong attitude of soaking clothes for days without washing them? Would you like to marry your bad breathe,” Pot belly”, big head, ill condition, lack of money and disrespectful manner? Check your product carefully before you sell it. Again, would you like to marry you?

Love requires that you love yourself first before seeking for love. You cannot genuinely love another if you don’t love yourself enough. If you love yourself, you’ll be good to yourself and then to others. Then, you will be loved.
Well, I hear you say; “I love myself anyhow” so why don’t you love someone else anyhow? Why do you expect someone to love you anyhow while you don’t? I think that is selfishness and I’m sure you agree with me.

Ladies have so many checklist for marriage; he must be tall, handsome, wealthy, cool, intelligent and with soft manner. I hear you say, “before who doesn’t like good thing?” But most ladies with these placards of criteria are complete opposite of these qualities. They want a good man but they are on the other side.

Men are not exceptional in this. They also have reasons to love. She must be beautiful with “figure 8” curve, intelligent and smart, among others. For Christians, anyone that must be a life partner must be God-fearing. I love this one.
But this is what I have to ask; would you still love this fellow if you no longer see the qualities that got you involved in marriage?

Don’t say, I will manage because marriage is meant to be enjoyed and not endured. It was designed to be blissful not the opposite.
Hear this, any reason you attached to loving someone is lust. Lust is the desire to have something. You only desire to have what you saw or what you think about the person. Lust is not love.  In this context, it is the strong desire to have an emotional relationship with another.

Lust is connected to feeling and feeling is just an emotion. Emotion is not love. It is the effect of chemical reaction in the body. Some medical experts said that chemicals change every five seconds in the body. This is why after having pre-marital sex for five minutes; partners hate each other for weeks without any cause because the chemical that produces that effects (feeling) has changed. Don’t love someone by the reaction of adrenaline. This could be called infatuation, not love. We must be careful what we call love. When the reason for lusting after the person is no longer there, we hate the fellow.

Love does not have “because “. You don’t say because your partner is not wealthy again or that he/she is too fat or ugly now, “he/she wasn’t like that the time I met him/her”.

Many are suffering from heartbreaks because they’re living in the world of reasoning not loving. You may have reason to be attracted to someone but you can never have reason for loving the fellow. Just as to err is human and to forgive (which is a virtue in love) is divine; to have any reason to love is human while to truly love is divine. Reasons lead to attraction; attraction gives birth to feeling (emotion) and feelings beget physical or bodily touch; touch eventually culminates to sex and after 5 minutes, the feeling is gone and you’re back to reality “oh no! Why did I do it?” You were lusting not loving. Courtesy of reasoning about his/her qualities and personalities.

Why do you love God? Let me help you; because He’s your Lord and Saviour, because He’s your Protector, because He’s your Healer and because He’s your Provider. Honey! If you love God with” because”, you don’t really love Him. What happens the day you no longer experience healing, provisions and protection, you’ll curse God to His face? May be you should ask “Father Job” how he loved. He loved like Love.

You ask “but bro. William, this is marriage we‘re talking about oh?” Where else should we talk about Love if not mainly in a relationship called marriage? You cannot love your spouse genuinely if you don’t love God supremely.

Love does not have limit. It is not measured. Love does not have an end (1Cor.13:8). Man could be dynamic; can experience some form of changes but love does not change because love is God and God is love (1Jn.4:8; 16). Another name for God is love. God Himself is love. You cannot have love without God and you cannot have God without love. Everything you can find in God, you can find in love and whatever you can find in love, you can find in God. When you say “I love you”, you are directly saying “I God you” which means “I see you as God sees you”.
I believe that the only reason to love is LOVE (God); not beauty, not shape, not height, not wealth, not qualification, not religion and not tribe.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Now you got me. “There is a reason to love after all” No! Get this message right. If the only reason why you love a person is God Who is Love, then there is no reason at all for loving the person or your partner. Love says “love your enemy”. What reason do you have for loving your enemy? While you are still thinking about that.

Look, any moment you quarrel or have misunderstanding with your partner, you become enemy to each other, but love says “don’t even wait for your partner to apologize, forgive and love even more”. Now, that’s tough. Isn’t it? Well, you can call it “tough love”. But that’s what true love demand. If you’re not experiencing this in your relationship, think again. You don’t look at the other person whether he/she is doing same. It’s personal.

Love flows from within to without. It comes from the spirit man to the physical. It is natural. If it is not God, it can’t be love.

A CRY FROM THE ENVIRONMENT

POEM
LAMENTATION FROM THE ENVIRONMENT
BY
W. C. AGUGUA
I was created before man was made. The Lord God made  man to take proper care of me, while I nourish them, so we are supposed to have mutual love for each other just like husband and wife but how man’s hatred grew against me, that I do not understand. They mis-father and maltreat me so much. They make me look dirty and ugly in the face of their kind, yet I endured but they never stop.
See how they hate me!
I watched them sneezed, vomit and defecate on me, they open their wide mouth and yawned, coughed and spat on me, releasing millions of micro-organisms into my body and I became sick without any doctor to take proper care of me but they have doctors who take care of them. I manage to get self help but they keep polluting me.
See how they hate me!
They gossip me in their various hostels, cars, offices, homes and even on the streets. Some said that I emit offensive odor, another group said that I look tattered like a mad woman while others said that I keep my body unaesthetic. Their ignorance has blind folded their knowledge. If only they had tamed me well, they would have seen how beautiful I look.
See how they hate me!
You see how they injected teargas into my eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin; they said its industrial, transportation and agricultural activities. Now, I am blind, deaf and dumb. My systems are weak, my life span is short. Man must surely suffer from the miasma of pollution which they have caused and imposed on me.
See how they hate me!
I supply man with water, fruits, meats, vegetables, and oxygen for their nourishment, health and wealth but they refuse my children a common blood meal.
See how they hate me!
When I start producing new offspring by weathering, they call me earthquake, volcanic eruption or soil erosion. When I supply them with adequate water on their demand, they call me flood. When they feel hot or heat and I provide them with one of my kind, they call me tsunami, tornado or hurricane. When they are tortured with cold or pneumonia and I gave them the sun, they shouted “ozone layer depletion” and I ask; who depleted my layer? Is it not man? Again, when I laugh and blink my eyes in my moment of ecstasy, they will call me thunder and lightning.
See how they hate me!
My family and I were very happy when they appointed their kind to help prevent man from causing me pains. I saw them in their black and brown shoes, khaki and white, then I hurriedly went to prepare a celebration party for the relief from man but on my return, I saw them eating, drinking and partying with those who hurt me. When will man keep me sacred?
See how they hate me!
